At CCM | Circularcovers.com, we are delighted to have supported RWE in the successful remote offshore handling of 72 monopile flange covers for the Thor Offshore Wind Farm. All monopiles have now been installed – a major milestone for this flagship project.

This video showcases our innovative monopile flange cover in action, together with the striking Breman Innovation Eyecatcher.

Our flange covers protect the monopile flange and internal ring directly after offshore installation until secondary steel is installed. During the installation of secondary steel, our fully enclosed monopile cover is installed, which will remain on the monopile until tower installation.

All our covers are reusable by design and suitable for multiple offshore wind projects. The Thor flange covers will actually be reused multiple times over the coming years across various offshore wind farms.
